Small World Baby Department

One of the first steps for your baby will be the settling in procedure, which is very important. Parents are encouraged to spend time at the nursery with their child. Parents are then able to see the regular pattern of a day in the Baby Department, how staff deal with the day to day running of the nursery, and the level of care given to the children.

Only when parents feel comfortable will they then leave their child for a couple of hours, increasing this time to a full morning or afternoon, to eventually reach the full time required. Babies are taken out in prams weather permitting. Daily Charts are available giving details of your child feeds, when and how much they have taken, when and how long your child has slept and what play activities he/she has taken part in.
